The autoresponder should have a web form you can make from their website. When you plug this code into your site you will either get a block of text with a form that will allow someone to subscribe, a popup, or an exit popup depending on what options you decided on.
Then, when someone subscribes they will be put into your list with your autoresponder. You can set up as many messages as you want in your autoresponder to automatically be sent to your new subscribers. Once it is created your work is done.
The next thing you need to do is figure out that you cannot over sell to your members. Three messages a week maximum is a good rule of thumb, unless you are giving away a free 10 day classor something like that.
The last thing you have to realize is that if you continually promote to your subscribers without giving them any real content for them you will lose members very fast and end up losing subscribers. You have to give them some content.
Giving your subscribers content is a pretty easy task, anyway. All you need to do is go to one of the many of free content directories and search for articles related to your subject matter. You can also give them free ebook downloads from time to time.
