When starting to market affiliate products it can be hard to know what action to take when building an income online. Many new marketers fail because they don't do anything thinking that there are some secret methods guarded by the few to being successful. In this article I will show you this is not the case.
The simple truth to being a successful online marketer is to use tried and tested marketing methods to promote your websites. Here are 3 simple marketing methods that you can implement today.
1. Promote on product per page. By having a unique landing page for each of the products you are affiliate marketing your visitors are more likely to buy the product.
Write a product review to highlight to your visitor how the products features will benefit them by solving specific problems or issues they have. Back this up with real customer testimonials which give your visitor confidence in what you are telling them.
You can include articles on your page showing how the product helped to resolve a specific problem. In both cases be informative and not overly sales focused. The visitor needs to feel you are helping them not trying to sell them a product as this actually helps them decide to get their credit card out.
2. Write a free report or case study on how the product helps to resolve a problem. Give these away free on your site and follow it up with a series of marketing emails.
By emailing your visitor using an autoresponder you strengthen your relationship with the visitor by providing additional helpful information. Statistics show that on average it takes 7 points of communication before the visitor trusts you enough to spend their money
3. Focus on attracting specific visitors to your site. It is much better to have 100 interested visitors than a 1000 uninterested visitors. Your marketing must be targeted at attracting people who would be genuinely interested in your product.
You can use PPC ( Pay Per Click ) marketing such as Google ad words to target specific visitors. This is can be very expensive but is highly effective and fast a generating targeted traffic.
The alternative is to use article marketing through directories and specific product related e-zines. By writing articles of 300 to 600 words a couple of times a week you can generate a good flow of targeted visitors. With just a 100 visitors you will see on average a sale every day.
To do the above is not hard and you can do them with little or no investment apart from your time. Nothing is stopping you starting today.
