Emina was born in Michigan, on 12th September, 1984 to Albanian parents. She moved to Yugoslavia when she was four and did her schooling there. At that time, Yugoslavia was undergoing tremendous turmoil and was facing a series of wars. Because of the wars and turmoil her childhood was unstable and not in her control.
She came in focus while taking part in Elite Model Look Yugoslavia 2001 competition when she was teen. At this stage she realized here dream.
Since joining Elite, Emina has taken part in many runway shows for well known designers, such as Kenneth Cole and Carolina Herrera. Her slim and trim sexy figure and attractive face have also landed her representation with Munich Models and Premiere Model Management.
