I can impart a couple of must follow guidelines to make sure you get to see what she looks like in your gift. If you follow these simple steps you will most certainly make her happy knowing that you took the time to figure out what she would enjoy and feel comfortable wearing. The benefits to following these steps should be obvious but if your not sure, just consider the rewards you will reap from showing her how sexy you think she is and then more importantly by making her feel sexy.
First of all, make it easy for yourself. You don't need to put yourself in a situation where you are uncomfortable and/or embarrassed by lurking around in the lingerie department of your local stores. I know men are not comfortable shopping for lingerie in that setting. They feel out of place, think the sales attendants are ignoring them because they don't really expect you to buy anything and they focus their attentions on women customers. When you decide on an online retailer, check for size charts first thing. If the retailer sells for several different lingerie companies they should have a size chart for each of the lingerie companies they represent. The size charts at the retailer site should be specific to the lingerie company with weight, bust and height measurements also show.
Once your confident that you have the size under control then lets move on the styles and colors. You may not know this but there are lots and lots of different styles, or names, for lingerie items. It important for you to figure out the style that you special lady likes and go with that, unless maybe she has given you some hints that she might like to try something a bit more daring. Robes and gown are pretty conservative by nature but can be quite sexy. There are other styles like baby dolls, camisole sets, teddies, corset, bustiers just to name a few. A lot of men don't know the difference between some of these. So pay attention when your poking around in her stuff and see if you can identify the styles that she seems to like. Just remember your buying this for her so don't buy something you like, buy something she likes.
Don't underestimate the importance of choosing the right colors. What colors does she wear now? Its probably safe to assume that if she wears a few different colors on a regular basis she likes those colors.
